So I can certainly say these past months I have been very busy with lots of beautiful invitations getting wrapped up. I’ll be shooting some this weekend to post up here for you all to see. This past weekend I traveled to sunny Arizona to go to Lindsay and Trevors wedding. Go back a page or two to see their invitations. Lindsay was of course a beautiful bride, and the wedding was such a success.
When I work with brides, I don’t just send them ideas for invitations, I try and help them with any little fun thing they can do to make their wedding that much more special. So in Lindsays case, they were getting married on a beautiful golf course and came up with a fun was to present her escort cards. So here’s the idea brought to life! And of course a picture of the wonderful wedding.
We flew in Thurdsay, and kicked off the wedding weekend at the Bride’s Aunt and Uncle’s house, a hoedown themed bash. There was an awesome BBQ going, lots of good country tunes, plaid patterns and lots of beer. This was a great idea, since traditionally you invite out of town guests to your rehearsal dinner, but since 85% of this wedding was out of towners, the hoedown was a great way to get everyone together and not having them all at the dinner the next night. After the rehearsal dinner, they opened to party up to everyone complete with a full bar and lots of kegs after a beautiful day of golfing for some and poolside for others (like me, see sunburn). Saturday was the wedding day! Everyone had a blast and we were all staying the same resort and kept the party going after we got back.
This was how perfect their day was, just to make you say “aww.” Right before Lindsay came out, it started to sprinkle a little bit. Rain in Arizona? Who knew. Anyways, this beautiful rainbow came up behind Trevor as he waited for his beautiful bride to come down the isle. Ugh just melts my heart. 🙂
